Resolve

If you're not here to learn
Why are you talking
You have nothing to contribute
Why aren't you already leaving
I'm moving, I'm asking
Your words are already passing
Why won't you take that woman there
At her word
It's a world worse off
I got to be the one speaking for you to listen
You're hardly even there
You personless mess of senses
Can't you see the people
All around you
You're sifting what you find fine
And your powder's absurd

Destination

I got these words I got to get through
Before the time I get back home
I may be bitter when I get there
But I'll have seen the world
Cruel as it is and I may
See some people torn
But there might soon be some lonely people
Missing
If the words I forget to say
Are as gone as those I did
I'll be different from a different person
And the same as the same idea
I had lost of myself but kept
Hid among those many lies
I have truth I've got and new lines to
Discover
I'm thinking of the pillows
And just how I'll lay
And the many unfortunate floors I may have to
Lean against
Crooked as my back ends up
As sloppy as I walk
I'm guaranteed to get home long as time keeps
Crawling

Bruised Pictures
04:00
|

Bruised pictures often cross my mind
Sweeping hair and interest found
Brutal thoughts when the child turns round
There are remnants of powers past
Stained floors remember fighting floods
My heels soften when it's only mud
Treading down are new lords
I'm sure they don't pay well
My love draws drinking water knowing it won't swell
I've had no other community
Than the one I've formed among my friends
I can trust we'll lock arms when our sleeping ends

Mountainous Glaciers
09:12
|
|||
Marvelous drifting
Mellifluous lifting
The glaciers are rising
From the flood
Have to hear the waves hash out
Splash sounds from mellow fluid
Against ice walls
That push apart the land
Revolving doors with tasks laid out
Spread the spray on the populace
The birds are often found
Picking at hands
A rabid dog that bites out
Is shot of blood enough
And far from the facts of
Looking down are faces pressed
Barely persisting
Under frozen containers
People fall without hearing
The sounds above

Well-Tempered
04:31
|

I won't wear your withering robes
Just so you can tear me for having no clothes
If mine toes are across on your interstate line
That'd say that all my friends wore it hardily alive
Mushy mouths in landfilled mounds
Largest weights lifted delivered in ground
I know what burial looks like
Profess you're nothing more than what you will spite
Laws you build sink so swiftly
Step on lots you outlined for thrift
Your upturned nose won't smell the putrefaction
You can kill meaning if you'll fell the datum
I won't back up your cold front
Or stand as your example above growth you stunt
The lies will out as your legacy
The statues will still spout all their treachery
Anyone who walks the ground is alienated
Our soles are wet and dry cleaning bills stated
Our friends have families rather than cohorts
You will dry soldiers' guns and resort to force

Scarfing
07:26
|

What is going to burn you up inside when you're done eating fried foods
And the snake noodles slip by your rock solid perception
Drowning your thirst from truth with unbeginning tall tales
You fall among uncontroverted ties and notes you took dumbfounded
The grip of certainties collapsed under your advantage
How strong will you have to be to get back up this time?
How wrong do you have to be to step down from suspended stables
When the froth is load-bearing and your scripted works are in mudslide
Scraps you pushed are beneath a henchman's foot
But he won't lift it up when you need them
Your dread is left dangled as newly brazened bifocals
What wingspan will you need to reach them?
Why are the drivers taking the corner so slowly with the chasers speeding up behind
Will you get time to cross and not be flattened
Along with your stainless steel mind
Your nailed breath will pant at you and your skin will gleam with pride
Why do you have to screw up your face to scratch your nose from the inside?
And how strong will you be when you get back up this time?

Why Wait
05:53
|
|||
Why do we have to wait
I don't want to wait
Something sooner than now's the only time worth living for
How can we explain
I don't want to have to explain
A world like this is too bad to be born in
How can we excuse
I don't want to have to excuse
Humans don't have enough good to be good enough
Why do places mean so much to us
I don't want these places to mean so much to me
They should stay the background of all the thoughts that blow by
Why do we wait in these places
I don't want to wait in these places
I want to trust the world will be better tomorrow

Vested in Anger
07:36
|
|||
Why aren't you angry you're not angry at yourself for not being angry yet
You only want to be angry if it feels wrong
It's only fun if it feels wrong
There's no fun in fun and doing right being associated in your mind they're too unintertwined
Why aren't you angry so little's right
And nothing's good enough
If you were ever angry now's giving you a better reason
It's best you best be angry now
Your rage could rectify you
Your pain can palpate your stages of what's behind you
Any grips of power you felt can be screamed out with the other people
Taken in pace with collapsing standards
Coarse stand-stills fastening
Their place among expectations
Set so by freeflow flat poses
Can't stand for any belief cause they're scared they might be immortal
It hurts to be right and to push and press floors up
The ceiling's flight costs the staircase
And it's only by anger we bring the elevator back down
You have every opportunity to find out the rights gone in every single wrong
So generate the energy to answer
Why aren't you angry yet?
